Thanks for sharing this. We see critical care myopathy and sarcopenia frequently in liver services and couldnโt agree more!! We really rely on Suzanne Lester and Judith Beattie and their brilliant teams to get people back to their normal lives

Thanks Elliot Tapper A challenging but important study given so many patients pre-Tx canโt eat (anywhere near) enough! Also demonstrated continued gains in HGS ๐ช and anthropometry with increasing duration of NG feeds until ~4mth (by which time most pt were transplanted)

Delighted to be asked to speak with my work bud Suzanne Lester at the North West dietitians Gastro group study day in Liverpool on "Pre-habilitation in liver disease". Thanks to @Stanningleypharma for looking after us ๐ค. British Dietetic Association BDA Gastroenterology Specialist Group Allied Health Professions Federation NI LiverAHPs

Amazing and exciting work Brooke Chapman !!!!!! This proves what we are seeing constantly with our patient's. We are also seeing similar improvements in engaged patients with food first strategies! pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38456800/
