Could make the case here for Solo Founders, but the honest answer is “it depends.” 6 years into ODF we’ve seen incredible co-founders meet through the community and build enduring relationships and companies. There’s more than one valid path for building a great startup!

at the end of the day, literally everything boils down to belief in yourself you can literally think about the top things you should be doing now to reach your goals and go do it if you believe enough, others will join too.

Nikunj Kothari i think of this every time i think about renaming the company imagine something similar would be helpful for founders stuck in this mode x.com/julianweisser/…

Meme: VCs don't work hard. Maybe true for crappy ones. But good investors were responding this weekend with impressive speed to Solo Founders startup intros.

I'm trying to think of a time when someone said they'd like to stay in touch for the next round and then: 1) stayed in touch 2) invested I am not sure I can think of a single example offhand though I'm sure they must exist.

. Ajith Govind Satheesh and I went through ODF and it was one of the best things to have happened to us! Vividly remember weisser saying "Rather than marketplace, you'll have to build tools to for chefs" - he saw this coming even before we knew it! Only possible through ODF!

The weird thing about public spats in little tech is that pretty much no one cares yet if you're in one yourself it can feel like everyone does. Outside of a small circle of friends people only care if you build wonderful things that solve real problems. Just keep going!

A real sign that SF is back isn’t SaaS apps or AI — it’s some eccentric burying $10k in gold to send people on a real life treasure hunt. (Hoping this wasn’t a publicity stunt for an AI SaaS app)
