Egypt is hosting many refugees, migrants and displaced persons and 🇳🇱 plays its part in assisting durable solutions for displacement. In Cairo, I visited an UNHCR Egypt registration center with many youth. It was set up thanks to the 🇳🇱 #Prospects partnership.

At 17, a Dutch teen saw plastic in the ocean & thought: what if I clean it all up? Today, his project has removed over 21 million kilos of plastic! That same spirit stood out at the #ECOSOC Youth Forum, where Amb Jurriaan Middelhoff shared the floor with Youth Rep Emma van Nieuwenhuizen.
