Mental health problems since my heart arrest. I realised I’ve been grieving for the life I’ve lost, things I now can’t do, things that have changed forever. Today I decided to wave goodbye to the old life, create & embrace a new life with new joys & new opportunities.#novictim

Hello everyone #lifeaftercardiacarrest here and still annoyingly cheery! As you can imagine, having gone through the dying and death experience, I’ve been thinking about Nico’s last moments a lot. The understanding I have now has brought me a lot of comfort. ❤️

I’ve just cancelled my cardiac rehab appointment for this morning as I’m feeling proper weak and wibbly. Spent yesterday afternoon in bed and looks like today is going the same way. Think it’s a virus, which my heart isn’t liking.....☹️😫

If you work in mental health, for an NHS Trust or private healthcare provider, or in a forensic unit. This webinar and really useful training is for you.

Been asked for my bio. Truth version? “A short, vain, massively chippy middle aged woman. Potty mouth, way too loud, insecure, proud to be woke, incredibly loyal. Been broken many times, stuck herself back together. The cracks matter cause that’s how the light shines through.”

This important webinar will focus on using positive family engagement within the new framework to transform the investigation experience of patients, families and staff.

I was one of the presenters for this training - the 1st of a series of training webinars we’re running for Berkshire Healthcare around this theme, as they begin working with the new PSIRF guidance and wanted additional training around the use of Positive family engagement after serious events.

Lilia has a severe propensity to joy & giggling, especially on her favourite play item, the wheelchair swing. A younger boy watched us getting Lilia into the wheelchair swing & he said he wished he'd a wheelchair too. #Inclusion #SharedPlay #BreakingDownBarriers

I’m so proud to know Tom Bell. No sister, no wronged and drastically harmed vulnerable patient, ever had a braver or more determined advocate. They are WRONG. This is so, so WRONG

The loss of a sister, just like the loss of your child has particular challenges. Whilst there are mutual support groups for bereaved parents I have been unable to find any for bereaved sisters, so I have set up this Facebook group. facebook.com/groups/9135072… Please do share
