Christ The King beat Oswego 62-50. The Gladiators are experienced, strong and athletic and will be a major factor in Class 2A. Aaron McClure led with 21 points (and 6 dunks). Aramis Currin scored 16 and Darien Green added 15. Oswego freshman Ethan Vahl was fantastic, scored 28.

Class of 2028 6’2” point guard Ethan Vahl of Oswego HS Boys Basketball was effective in the small time he played . Made some nice no look passes in game. Totaled 12 points (5/8 FG) 5 rebounds in blowout win over Plainfield Central Wildcats Athletics. Freshman passes first playoff test with flying colors.

Class of 2025 6’5” wing Desean Patton of Oswego HS Boys Basketball was productive in the little time he played. Totaled 13 points (3/3 FT) 5 rebounds in blowout win over Plainfield Central Wildcats Athletics.

Class of 2025 6’11” center Hunter O’Neill of Oswego HS Boys Basketball came off bench in second quarter and scored 9 of his 11 points (5/6 FG) in the quarter. A load in the post had 3 rebounds in a small amount of time. Getting some small college interest.

10 months ago, I thought I had the played my last game. I sat on the couch post-ACL surgery and made it my goal to make it back at some point during the season, probably January. Though it ended in a way no season should end, I am humbled to have played and started all 33 games

Thankful to hit 1,000 points in my career. Thank you to Coach Sovern, Coach Sherman, Coach Ray, Coach Andy, Coach Christian, Coach Bols, and the Yorkville Christian basketball team for giving me the opportunity me to be a co-captain and providing me with an unforgettable season.
