So much talk about “what would X handicap shoot at Oakmont”… Why don’t we find a way to make it happen? Have a 5, 10, 18 whatever handicap play Monday after the U.S. Open. Back tees full rules of golf, and see what happens? May have to let a few groups thru and allow for 6-7

Not many places in the world like Oakmont… It’s as much of a test as we will find for a U.S. Open. Great week for patience and to embrace the challenge! LFG

After (kind of) playing it for 2 days, and watching over the weekend… it’s hard to express how difficult/borderline impossible Oakmont would be if it was firm. Not even rock hard, but just the slightest bit of firmness in the greens would make it 🤯
