Delighted to let you all know that after a Covid suspension of 13 months, business training has finally restarted at our Kisumu project. 19 new entrepreneurs trained recently and received their first loans. Here are some pics....

At last! Our first newly trained clients of 2021 have now got their loans and are growing their businesses! Here is Lydia, who has used her loan to buy maize in bulk. She sells to customers from her home and is delighted with the profit she can make :-)

Our project in Sikasso, Mali is expanding! A further 100 women and girls will soon receive training in goat rearing and a micro loan to get them started. Feedback on the 98 women funded in April 2021 has been very positive, with lots of goat kids born already :-)

This year we are part of the Big Give - a chance to double your money! Donations made through the Big Give website between 30 Nov and 7 Dec will be match funded by our corporate donor, Tomolly Ltd. Our target is £2000, which would be a great Christmas gift for all our clients :-)

It's International Women's Day today. At Just Small Change, we are celebrating the resilience and determination of all our clients in Kenya and in Mali who are working so hard to provide for their families. Thank you for supporting them!

Huge thanks to the staff and students K.E.S. Stratford for your warm welcome this morning and for your generous donation of £12,356.05 - the largest we have ever received! A tremendous fundraising effort by the whole school community, which will improve many lives in Uganda.

Our work in Budaka District, Uganda is now well underway! 4 goat breeding groups have been set up, involving 120 women from four communities, 120 nanny goats, eight exotic breed bucks and four goat keepers, who look very happy in their new JSC T shirts!
