I realised today that it's 10 years since I first doodled a whale on a rooftop, and 5 years since Orphans of the Tide was published. I can’t quite believe that I still receive letters from readers about it, and am so grateful to the teachers&librarians who champion it to this day

✨ Year 3 were spellbound during a virtual author visit from Justyn Edwards | the Great Fox series, creator of The Great Fox Illusion! 📚✨ He read the first chapter, performed a live magic trick involving jelly beans (and a mind-blowing prediction!), and left the pupils buzzing with excitement. 🪄 For
