just discovered this weekend that SunPower really needs to better implement their inverter controllers, I have a PVS that won't boot because their one provisioning box appears down. "rsvp000.pvs5.p2e.io". their no-export implementation is a hack for sure.

made progress with SunPower, got past support and to the engineering team and they got the system fixed. got to learn a lot about the PVS5X product in the proccess

lots of power outages over the last few hours in the northwest, one of our DSL aggregation devices showing the traffic drop off as users lost power (note our sites are not down)

is EdgeConneX just nuts when it comes to infosec? expiring portal logins on short intervals and locking them out has little to no benefit and just pisses off paying customers. Folks operating datacenters should assume that customers in 20+ datacenters don't login each month

we actually didn't but we did (and still do) fix building wide outages 24/7. :)
