🧵I've spent this year writing for the The New Republic about how a group of Silicon Valley billionaires has gone WEIRD. Now their weirdness is mating up with Trump's MAGA weirdness in the 2024 election. Here's a few things to understand about these guys.

This isn’t vote shaming. It’s stating a fact. Harris losing will not move the party further left. It will not “teach them a lesson.” I understand why some people feel they can’t vote for her but reckon with the harm electing Trump will cause & don’t pretend her losing will help

Imagine being in an ER, inches away from lifesaving care, and being told, “Sorry, you’re not near enough to death for me to help. I might get sent to jail.” That’s exactly what Trump abortion bans do. Vote for Kamala Harris and a Dem ticket down the line to avoid that nightmare

If you’re still deciding between voting for Kamala Harris or Jill Stein, please take a moment to watch. I made this video with Palestinian American and political activist Rania Batrice. We understand being conflicted but wanted to share our perspective.
