Eli gama lithi "Mqundu" alithuki, nangona namhlanje lisetyenziswa as isithuko, kunzima nokulisebenzisa. It's a scientific name for the "fundament" or "bottom of the verssel", according to Kropf's 1899 dictionary. Many others such as msunu, njalo njalo, awathuki nawo.
