Learned to ride a bicycle at 33 years old, thinking "if I can be a beginner cyclist in Kuala Lumpur, possibly the most hostile city I can think of for it, I can do it anywhere." It's been such a rewarding time. My first/last mile problem is solved, and I get so many adventures.

I love cycling. I use it lots for my daily commute within 5km radius and sometimes more. By cycling I appreciate my surroundings, support local businesses, greet more people. I wish there will better infra for cycling so I can move further with this machine.

Cycling gives me an authentic feeling to my travels. I ride most of the time: Travel abroad, to work and run errands. Gearing up in morning, unwinding life in evening. It is possible to ride in Malaysia. Keep at road shoulder, respect other motorists, maintain safe distance.

Subang Parade cycling commute. SS15, SS16 are all very short trips by bicycle or walking. But the pedestrian and cycling infrastructure is atrocious. Third world quality design & implementation at best. This is a new crossing too.

You can commute by bike to suit your style. Foldie, mountain bike, town bike. I myself love my fast multipurpose all road bike, whether it's for daily errands to local shops, bikepacking adventure or long recreational ride on the weekend. It's fun!
