Before meeting DR Congo President, BMGF leadership met with our great partners from Rotary International VP Yinka Babalola and Fred Tiabu Thanks to all Rotarians all over the world for being such amazing partners to eradicate Polio!

Thanks to WB, with GAVI and Unicef, we met the DR Congo Minister of Finance Sele Yalaghuli and Minister of Health Longondo Eteni to discuss short and long term solutions for vaccines financing. Together, we must and we will find a solution to avoid vaccines shortage in DR Congo!

6 months after the DR Congo National forum for immunization and polio eradication, the President met with all the partners (BMGF, GAVI, DfID, Path, Rotary International, CDC, USAID, Unicef, WB, WHO) to discuss the successes and challenges. This is true accountability!

Today, the Regional Certification Commission for Polio Eradication has accepted documentation submitted by Cameroun, South Sudan, Centrafrique and Nigeria certifying their Wild Polio Free status! Thanks to the thousands of Health Care Workers who worked tirelessly during decades!
