My research deals with hallucinations, so I was excited to try this out - unfortunately it immediately fell for a classic gender stereotype (CC Cade Metz)

A fantastic example from my student Emma Harvey of how hallucination-checking software can fall prey to the same biases as LLMs hallucinating in the first place. A service highlighted by the The New York Times (Vectara) assumes a sentence with female doc & male nurse is likely hallucinated.
