This morning I was sworn in as an MP. Now the real work begins, with the King’s Speech next Wednesday followed by several days of debate.

"As a Green MP I'd like to see much bolder action being talked about" The #KingsSpeech doesn't go far enough. Insulation. Building standards. Rent controls. Green MPs will be pushing Labour to do better.

I've been absolutely horrified by the racist and Islamophobic violence on UK streets in the past week. The full force of the law needs to be brought to bear on the thugs. Now let's unite to build an inclusive, equal, non-discriminatory society. The UK is better than this.
