Planted squash this week in the MST Magnet School garden. The beans are starting to sprout too.

Design Day at MST Magnet School was a hit! From problem-solving to prototyping, our students showed off their creativity, collaboration, & engineering minds. Huge thanks to Kate Hebert , Taylor Wooten, M.Ed, Lindsay Cross , and all who made this day unforgettable! 💡💙 #MSTexcellence

Extra bittersweet Senior Breakfast MST Magnet School as my middle baby takes her senior walk.

Thank you White Tiger Parents for the amazing lunch surprise! đź’™

Today we celebrated Mrs. Brenda Patterson and her 30 years of service and dedication to MST Magnet School . With MST since the doors opened, this White Tiger leaves behind a legacy of kindness and commitment that is unrivaled.

Garden volunteer days MST Magnet School gives everyone a chance to see new growth in the garden. Today was a big battle against some squash bugs and checking out the carrots.

In the garden MST Magnet School today—we harvested some okra and were able to observe some baby cucumbers, squash and cantaloupe. Get in on the adventures by joining us 6-25 9:00-11:30.

We appreciate all those that showed up to help with garden today MST Magnet School The squash bug battle continues. Growth is occurring with okra, watermelon, beans, cantaloupe, artichoke, carrots, potatoes, herbs, and more on the indoor towers. Next work day is, 7-2, 9:00-10:30.

Today’s garden adventures MST Magnet School included installation of new irrigation, harvesting squash, MORE squash bugs, and protecting cantaloupe against our wildlife habitants. Thanks for those that came out to help, and next workday is Monday 7-7, 9:00-10:30

Summer Garden episode7 MST Magnet School . Sadly, we lost the squash bug battle (although a master gardener advised that squash bugs almost always win) . The critters are so determined to get to the sweet cantaloupe that they chewed through the bed cover. Okra is growing strong!

Summer Garden MST Magnet School episode 8. We are actually dealing with too much water this summer—which hasn’t ever happened for me! Okra harvested and carrots, melons, and flowers are thriving. Squirrels are still getting all the cantaloupe.

Summer garden MST Magnet School #9. Potato vines were damaged by too much water. Some small potatoes harvested. It turns out the indoor garden can have pests too, the jalapeños had greenhouse whiteflies, and had to mostly be removed. Okra, beans, and luffa growing!

Summer Garden MST Magnet School #10. We kept our garden in pretty good shape this summer for the students’ return. Our Pre-K and Kinder friends will have carrots to harvest! A busted sprinkler hose made tomatoes sad. The pollinator plants are thriving!!
