Today~130 people joined the Peabody/RAUC #bikebus celebrated #NationalBikeToSchoolDay with our very own marching band by bike, courtesy of members of the School of HONK. Only the @bikepedantic mastermind could conceive and pull this off. Best Bike Bus ever.

Biking down Cambridge St. today, I’m frustrated by how easily we could accommodate parking and still provide a safe bike lane and pedestrian crosswalk. Delaying bike lanes as some on City Council want helps no one and hurts everyone. Let’s push for safer streets! Cambridge Bicycle Safety

Beautiful morning for the 2nd to last Peabody School bike bus of the school year!

Thank you Katherine B for all your hard work. Watching these young folks having so much fun has been some of my most enjoyable moments.

At campgrounds, packs of children roam around on their bikes, while people driving cars were patient and slow. Why can't our kids have this freedom in our urban neighborhoods? Traffic calming was necessary at the campsite entrance, but a bubble installation was very effective.

Children are 20% of our population but 100% of our future. Yet we keep building places that steal their freedom and put them in danger. If we really care about the wellbeing of kids, we must start including them in urban and transport planning policies. bit.ly/45XqjNQ
