What I saw today on the ground was extraordinary: over 600 residents safely evacuated, fire lines holding under extreme conditions, and seamless coordination across Tribal, local, state, and federal partners.

Years of prescribed burns, thinning, and fuels treatment by Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest and DFFM played a critical role in preventing greater destruction.

Thank you to every firefighter, emergency responder, and local official working around the clock to protect lives, homes, and entire communities. Arizona is grateful, and we’re with you for the long road ahead.
