Good about everything. I thought we were going to decide if I needed a break. She said we got your scan results. I said, yeah! They looked pretty good. She pointed out SEVERAL things and said, "That doesn't look good to me!" Bottom line, this treatment is no longer working.2 of 3

(Pt 3) She said they are putting me on different meds. Carboplatin and Gencitibine. Needless to say, this was a big shock. She pointed out a few things, that was how they came to that decision. I was gutpunched. Her tone was VERY serious. My liver is a mess and getting worse. End

I was able to have treatment today. I’m relieved & exhausted. Life w/ cancer is hard. Maybe not everyday, but many days. Thank you to Nurse Natalia who cheered me up, complimented my “nice teeth” & brought me oatmeal. She’s a dream. Hugs to all of you living life w/ cancer.😘

So, tomorrow is chemo round 2 of the new meds. Having 1 under my belt, my markers shot up 30 points. My HCT level is critically low. So I have to have a blood transfusion. This explains the soul fatigue and shortness of breath. I hope things get better from here.
