That approach shot on 15 is actually beyond words. Just when it seemed to be slipping away from McIlroy. Nick Faldo on commentary โ€œMaybe the shot of his lifeโ€

Harry Diamond to Rory McIlroy on their way to the 18th tee for a playoff: "Well pal, we would've taken this on Monday morning."

Brilliant catching up with Deano for this piece. Donโ€™t think weโ€™d spoken since the London 2012 Paralympics but it felt like no time at all. The athletes at Uni of Birmingham are lucky to have him.

For those who need to hear it (especially in the post-Boston, pre-London madness), marathons can be great, but thereโ€™s far more to running. Track, mile, 5k, 10k, half marathon, hills - they matter too. Donโ€™t let the influencers influence.

Mini London Marathon in 2013 saw Alex Yee finish 3rd in the U15 boys race. Emile Cairess was 9th, Mahamed Mahamed 21st, Josh Kerr 47th. The winner? Jamal Lewis, who went on to play football for Newcastle Utd & Northern Ireland ๐Ÿ˜™ ๐Ÿ“ธ Mark Shearman MBE athleticsweekly.com/blog/mini-maraโ€ฆ

I like a good fact and my current favourite linked to British & Irish Lions selection is that Fin Smithโ€™s Grandad was born in Gala and played for Gala and the Lions ๐Ÿฆ. Henry Pollockโ€™s mum and dad are also Scottish.

This was by far my favourite moment of the night ๐Ÿ’™. Huge congratulations obviously go to Julian Weber for his incredible PB and winning throw, but to see Chopra break the 90m barrier at last - something that has been asked of him again and again - was outstanding.
