It was an honor (and so much fun) to read in the inaugural Fiction Night, a monthly reading series at Old Arabi Lighthouse Records and Books. With an open mic afterward They've got lots of great events coming up. Definitely a bookstore to visit if you're in New Orleans

Galleys! So powerful to hold this in my hands. Mom's humor, insight, boldness, and warmth inspired many of us who knew her. Now, with The Fetishist, that number can keep growing. I keep metaphorically pinching myself but it's still real: Mom's novel is coming out Jan 31!
