BELUGA....!!! The snow finally melted and we enjoyed absolutely amazing views of Shetland's sixth-ever Beluga Whale off Hillswick, Shetland this morning. Appears to be in very good body condition, is diving regularly and we observed no other behaviour of concern. 🙏

An amazing encounter with Hulk and Nótt Fair Isle Bird Observatory today, as this iconic pair of bull Orca slowly circled the islet of Greenholm with us watching on just metres away, midway through a visit to monitor the Puffin burrows!

ORCAS! An amazing day following the 27s from land as they headed up the west coast of the south Mainland of Shetland. Here's 'Vaila' (aka '27') - the matriarch of the pod - surfacing with her calf born in November 2022 right in front of us. Hard to put the feelings in to words!
