More pics of the Orca spotted yesterday from North Aberdeenshire. There were at least 10 Orca, now ID’d as being members of both the 27’s and 64’s pods. Thanks to Steve Truluck, Karen Munro and Hugh Harrop Wildlife for ID’ing.

An amazing encounter with Hulk and Nótt Fair Isle Bird Observatory today, as this iconic pair of bull Orca slowly circled the islet of Greenholm with us watching on just metres away, midway through a visit to monitor the Puffin burrows!



Our second ORCA encounter in two days! Yesterday our Shetland Wildlife groups spent the morning and early afternoon watching a pod of 10 Orca cruise slowly down the east Mainland of Shetland - a different and 'mixed' pod to those we saw on Wednesday ('27s' pod). This group held at
