We are so excited to be part of this important paper showing the double burden of #malaria and #malnutrition. Urgent actions needed to offer better treatment to children with the 2 conditions. thelancet.com/journals/langl…

This yet another paper from our team. An important contribution to studies of antimalarial efficacy and ensuring effective treatment for #malaria. malariajournal.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11…

What a week for our team. A new paper on trends of molecular markers of drug resistance to antimalarial drugs in Tanzania (2016-2021). We missed artemisinin resistance markers because the sites were not spot on. More work to do to track resistance. malariajournal.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11…

I’m proud that people from nearly 200 countries work in our NHS. I completely condemn this racist violence and stand with our staff and the communities they live and work in. Thank you to our emergency services who are working hard to keep everyone safe.

I am immensely proud that the NHS I work in is one of the most multi-ethnic and diverse organisations in the world. NHS colleagues and emergency workers from many countries and faiths work around the clock to serve every UK community. You have my utmost appreciation and respect.
