I’m loving my time with OSU Center of Microbiome Science at the Midwest microbiome conference. Great talk Jessica Cooperstone - really neat to see her platform of interactions between tomato chemistry, microbiota metabolism, human nutritional outcomes! Timely too with summer around the corner.

Another great day of microbiome science! Kicked off with force by @science_punx - a systematic approach to outline fails in microbiome workflows for eukaryotes, with well vetted solutions. Mind blown. Great work not on Twitter Audra Crouch and team!

Hey PIs don’t you love it when a trainee gives a talk 300 times better than you know you could. Bursting with pride and loving all Kaela Amundson, PhD new analysis and vision towards mapping the microbes in engineered energy systems via MAP-Frac. MJ Wilkins

One of the best parts of this project is working with wetland teams across the US. Thanks Wisconsin and @profdesani for kicking us off-the wetlands were beautiful and the cheese curds delicious. Minnesota here we come!

So many field campaigns since 2018 when Jorge and I first started trampling around wetlands. mud pits, mosquitos, canoeing up stream, faulty equipment- none of those have impacted us, still smiling…still got it.
