Everybody thinks COVID shelter-in-place orders coming back are inevitable, but I think if things get really bad we are underrating the chance that governments do nothing in the face of exponential growth and just let people suffer.

My 10 year daughter happened to be trying on her Halloween costume while listening to Governor Andy Beshear talk about Halloween precautions. Her response: “I’m glad we have someone in charge who actually cares.” Amen, girl.

@maddy_smiles we haven’t used a rocking chair with either of our babies until they were old enough to enjoy reading books at bed time.

@maddy_smiles that was probably closer to 9 months? We still use it for story time with our almost three year old.

@maddy_smiles everyone is different, but my babies enjoyed being bounced/swayed to sleep... more movement than you would get in a rocker.
