I suspect that a lot of "AI training" in companies and schools has become obsolete in the last few months As models get larger, the prompting tricks that used to be useful are no longer good; reasoners don't play well with Chain-of-Thought; hallucination rates have dropped, etc.

Resisting the standard urge to tweet about OpenAI’s naming system given today’s new products are named 4.1, 4.1-mini, and 4.1-nano, given the existence of 4o, the upcoming o4, and the existing 4.5. Don’t worry, the numbering system is completely uninformative as to capabilities.

You can just take academic papers and paste them into Gemini 2.5/ChatGPT o3/Claude 4 with the prompt "build me a game based on this paper, make it interesting and thematic but still conveying key findings" and get a tiny working educational game. (In this case, I used Gemini)
