Saying you want feedback and being open to it are two totally different things.

News flash: If you outlaw abortions, ban mask mandates, dictate what educators can teach in schools, and stop people from voting, you're not the party of "limited government."

It is a little hard for me to take the hand-wringing about non-violent protests outside the homes of Supreme Court Justices seriously when the Supreme Court itself ruled protests outside the homes of *doctors who provide abortions* is protected by the 1st amendment.

School culture is not created by a mission statement (most don't even know their statement says), catch phrases or educational buzz words, but it is created by the ACTIONS of everyone associated with the school.

It takes a monster to kill children. But to watch monsters kill children again and again and do nothing isn’t just insanity—it’s inhumanity.

I’ve worked in several schools where teachers weren’t trusted to use the laminating machine, and even one campus where we weren’t allowed to make our own copies…but sure, the politicians want to give us guns.

Maybe we need to repurpose Memorial Day to include all the victims of gun violence who were murdered as a sacrifice to our freedom to bear arms. #Uvalde #Buffalo #MemorialDay

Amazes me that people still don’t get it. Health insurance companies don’t care about you. They want to extract money from your healthy body until you are no longer healthy, then they want you to die as quickly as possible so they can focus on other money producing bodies.

Kind of important context. When DPS officials were pointing fingers at Uvalde school police for failing to go after the shooter, there were 91 DPS officers there, according to the report released today. Uvalde CISD had 5.

As a parent of 3 Katy ISD students, I know how hard this district works to achieve their goals. Sacrificing 1 day to celebrate this amazing Championship with this great community & team seems reasonable.

Just because some teachers would rather stay in the classroom than go into administration doesn’t mean they aren’t leaders. Many have amazing talents which can benefit a school.Good leaders value them as experts and help maximize their talents and potential.

We spend 50% more hours in school than Finland. They get 15 mins of recess every hour. They have NO standardized tests except for PISA in HS and they outperform us every time. When we can’t give students more recess, physical activity & Arts then we don’t understand education.

If school districts would take time to ask teachers, if you were to think about leaving, what would it take for you to stay. They would quickly find what they need to focus on to improve teachers working conditions.
