The comments have certainly been vile and should be absolutely condemned. But they’re from out and out racists. Yet, Katharine Birbalsingh bizarrely blames the “far left”. Perhaps she needs to look at how such racist and ethnonationlist views are becoming normalised, and who is doing so.

People are certainly “entitled to choose who governs them”. It's called democracy. I've no problem with white people being in an Indian government, if they've been elected. As for Indian ethnonationalism, which usually expresses itself as Hindu nationalism, I've always opposed it
