As Kendra Brooks says, your vote matters. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz will chart a #NewWayForward where everyone can not only get by, but get ahead. That sounds like a future we can get behind. Make a plan to vote: iwillvote.com/pa

From the very beginning, I said that we shouldn’t allow billionaires to dictate our city’s agenda. Today on Studio 2, I explained why we must put people - not billionaires’ profits - at the center of our decision-making. Thanks for having me on the show!

We won’t let unelected billionaires control our government. We have to fight back. The most important thing you can do right now is get involved.

Today, I introduced the POWER Act (Protect Our Workers, Enforce Rights). The bill strengthens our labor laws to end retaliation against workers who report abuses and allow workers to recoup lost wages when their rights have been violated. #workingfamiliesPHL #economy4allPHL

Now more than ever, it is vital that we stand together to protect ALL of Phillies workers. The POWER Act is one of the easiest yet most crucial steps to ensuring all workers in Philadelphia are protected✊

After making Philly’s nationally recognized Eviction Diversion Program permanent last year, I set up meetings with all stakeholders — tenants, landlords, and mediators — to learn how we can make the program even more successful in the future. inquirer.com/real-estate/ho…

The POWER Act passed unanimously today! It's a major victory for every worker who has ever had their rights violated, and it's a new model for every city that's ready to stand up for workers against Trump's anti-worker, anti-immigrant agenda.

This is what we're able to accomplish when we put impacted people front and center in the legislative process. We have a new law that holds employers accountable and compensates workers directly when their rights are violated. prospect.org/labor/2025-06-…
