We r back in This is Athens, Greece for #IWHOD2023! Great dinner gathering at the top of Athens with IeDEA collaborators. Excited for the next few days of #HIV and #HCV science and longitudinal database #EpiMethods.

Dr. Amy Justice, chair of the 25th #IWHOD meeting, welcomes us. Amy is a champion of longitudinal cohorts and a wonderful NA-ACCORD investigator. I am lucky to call Amy a long-time mentor.

The Maestro, Dr. Alvaro Munoz, gives the first #IWHOD2023 address in which he recounts how longitudinal #HIV cohorts contributed to guidelines, prolonging life for those living with HIV. And he brought all the good pics from the past few decades!

Dr. Lauren Zalla presenting (at #IWHOD2023) the next steps to her doctoral (#PhDlife) thesis research that she is moving forward with in her #postdoc. Love to see her continuing to use NA-ACCORD data for analyses & receiving excellent mentorship by Drs. name and Catherine Lesko.

A busy morning for IeDEA investigators at #IWHOD2023! Great to see Constantin Yiannoutsos and Sophie Desmonde in the "Dragons' Den" (co-hosted by Keri Althoff), and methods talks by Nicolas Banholzer and Giorgos Bakoyannis.

Dr. Giorgos Bakoyannis turns the problem of misclassifying those LTFU & deceased as disengaged in care into a missing data problem, and applies missing data approaches to solve. Great data from East African region of IeDEA. #IWHOD2023
