H5N1 (B3.13) in dairy cattle: study with $950 per cow estimate... 20% of c.3500 herd symptomatic. Random sampling showed 90% seropositive (40% in dry cows). So 75% of infections *missed* by clinical diagnosis. Milk loss & death, esp. among symptomatic. nature.com/articles/s4146…
