Shame on TED. Are there risks in using a ketogenic diet for someone with type 2 diabetes? Yes—but not for the reason listed. The biggest risk isn’t ketosis. It’s hypoglycemia—caused by diabetes medications that aren’t adjusted when blood sugar levels drop rapidly on the diet.

How is it possible that I have maintained a 150lb weight loss for 8 years & I’ve NEVER COUNTED A CALORIE I’m also eating much MORE fatty meat, & much LESS fruit, LESS ❤️ heart-healthy whole grains & I’ve consistently skipped “the most important meal of the day” I’m puzzled 🤔
