In partnership with Brechin Bobcats the Township of Ramara recognizes #NationalDayForTruthAndReconciliation with a heart-shaped rock garden in honour of the lost children and survivors of residential schools and the impacts on their families and communities. ramara.ca/news

What a great week of experiential learning with Classical Chinese Dancer, Selina along with Kate from Orillia Centre for Arts + Culture for Simcoe County District School Board students! She taught them choreography that she created and discussed the history of this style of dance & her aspiring career. SCDSB Student Achievement

We are so thankful that special guest, Erin Dixon from the #TruthAndReconciliation Roundtable worked with gr. 6-8 students from alongside Lisa Ligers and Rosanne Irving . Students are learning about the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
