As a recently pregnant surgical resident, I find this data important and sobering. I was lucky to have a very supportive team Dartmouth Hitchcock Vascular Surgery, partly due to many amazing surgeon-parents in leadership. I hope healthy culture around pregnancy comes to all programs!
