Really appreciating the richness of the Divide an Inch task from OAME/AOEM with #MTH1W. My class last year struggled heavily with it. As a result, I was much better prepared to scaffold and consolidate this year and so many good things came out of it! 1/2

Working on my concept circles. This reinforces the concept of proportional reasoning using what is normally thought of as a "ten" as "one" Also, 0.06 challenges students. Can we show 0.06? Why? Why not? What needs to change? Deep thinking indeed!
