Just got tenure! This is thanks to inspiring work by brilliant grad students Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine (Gwen Beacham, Ed Partlow, Erika Beyrent and Derek Wei) and our amazing collaborators UNC Biochemistry and Biophysics department (Rick Baker and Kevin Cannon) and Stowers Institute (Laurence Florens and @jeff_j_lange)!
So happy Rick Baker got to see Watkins Glen with Kayleigh Morrison, Erika and me. Excited for his Molecular Medicine seminar tomorrow Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine!
Anyone figure out how to get the access code for attendee list American Society for Cell Biology #ASCB2022 ?
Thank you Eric Drier of Mad City Labs for an incredible week spent assembling our RM21 Micro Mirror TIRF microscope and teaching us so much about optics (and genetics too)!
So excited about the publication of the lab's latest work in EMBO Reports! We discovered how to keep planarian stem cells alive and well after exposure to lethal doses of radiation! Read below for the surprising details. embopress.org/doi/full/10.15…
Happy to share the newest preprint from Hollopeter lab Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine: biorxiv.org/cgi/content/sh…. We propose the Inversin complex works via a dimerization mechanism. You’re probably thinking, “What the $%@! is the Inversin complex?” Let me explain:
