Asking for all prayers for a miracle for my baby girl Kellyanne. She is still one of the Mystic Campers who is unaccounted for. I’ll never forget when she told me she had a lead solo in the Christmas Pageant. She is absolutely fearless.

The Gospel keeps us from continuous apathy and continuous outrage. Because Jesus became sin for us, our apathy is transformed into healthy compassion. Because we become the righteousness of God, our outrage is focused towards finding solutions.

Cruelty is not of Christ Jesus. Humane treatment of the undocumented and the implementation of immigration laws can coexist.

Most pastors, though they have the right to endorse candidates from the pulpit, will still not do so. Pastors refrain less out of fear of the government and more because they feel it’s inappropriate. Most of them, however, encourage civic engagement and teach on important issues.
