An #AI system that automatically interprets echocardiograms maintained high accuracy across geography and time from complete and limited studies. Rohan Khera ja.ma/45zhTye
Excited that #PanEcho is now published in JAMA Kudos to Greg Holste Evangelos K. Oikonomou for leading this incredible effort! Now also validated on ED POCUS studies + RVNet+ (Thx Attila Kovacs & Marton Tokodi for joining us) See 🧵 below for details! jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/…
Proud to have contributed to the validation of the milestone #PanEcho AI system, now published in JAMA! jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/… Congrats Rohan Khera Evangelos K. Oikonomou Greg Holste and the entire Team! Marton Tokodi, MD

Why not use RVEF by #3DEcho or #whyCMR to avoid all issues related to angle-dependence of #TAPSE? Do we really need more studies to show that we need robust and reproducible measures of RV function, and that TAPSE is not one of them? Luigi Elena Surkova João Cavalcante
Ever wondered what determines the hemodynamic impact of tricuspid regurgitation? What is the impact of RegVol/RegFr on RA V waves and on stroke volume? What the impact of RA compliance on RA V waves? Can we safely use indirect Fick in tricuspid regurgitation? Circ: Heart Failure 🧵👇
Denisa Muraru Luigi Elena Surkova João Cavalcante We dropped MMode for the assessment of the LA and LV years ago. Not sure why we still use it for the RV. Every study shows that 3D or free wall strain both are far superior. Let’s move on from Medieval echo (I think that’s what the M stands for)
So grateful to be part of this amazing team of investigators. This project took a village, spanning 19 medical centers & 4 continents. Particular thanks to Roberto M Lang (in memorium) Dr.Patricia Pellikka, & the amazing Ultromics team for their tireless work, support, and mentorship
RV-PA coupling is strongly associated with major morbidity and operative mortality in cardiac surgery. RV dysfunction should be integrated into perioperative risk assessment scores! Congrats Alina Nicoara and Team!
We know AI-ECG and AI-Echo can detect transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM), but: – How early can they pick up the phenotype? – Can we track its progression with digital biomarkers? Find out in our CarDS Lab study in EHJ Editor-in-Chief Thread below 🧵👇 w/ Rohan Khera
