My latest Truth on the Market article explores the FCC's ongoing broadcast-ownership rulemaking and argues that piecemeal regulatory reforms are no longer sufficient amid the rapid shift from broadcast to streaming. As streaming now accounts for nearly half of U.S. television

excellent piece piece on some leaked details of potential changes to the GDPR from my colleague Mikołaj Barczentewicz eutechreg.com/p/leaked-gdpr-… A great point made: even with the benefits of these changes, enforcement will remain a problematic issue given the temperament of the DPAs

In comments on the proposed EU Space Act, kristian stout & Eric Fruits, Ph.D. explain how its mechanisms would likely introduce economic distortions and structural barriers that would impede, rather than enhance, its stated goals. They suggest several revisions. 🔗 ⬇️

My first post on Truth on the Market covering the FCC quadrennial review process and specifically why the question of whether competition exists in a market is an economic one, not a political one subject to agency deference. truthonthemarket.com/2025/11/12/the…

My latest with kristian stout on an Australian content quota bill like that is currently working through the legislature. We've been seeing these bills around the world, largely target American tech companies, and present significant non-tariff barriers to trade.
