Finally, we found that lower complexity is linked to lower age and better cognitive and motor performance. We take this as a sign that a higher capacity for complexity drops may represent a behaviorally relevant and beneficial aspect of brain function.

This study assessed the presence of central vein sign (CVS) in T2-hyperintense pediatric-onset MS (POMS) lesions via SWI at 1.5T MRI. Findings show CVS is frequently detectable in POMS, consistent with the “40% cutoff rule” & Select6* criteria in adult MS: hubs.la/Q03CcQ-80
