The mid-Atlantic #synbio community has gotten so strong, in part to efforts like #MASBN, sponsored by U.S. National Science Foundation. It won’t be long until this region is a Boston or Bay Area synbio hub. Thanks to Aditya Kunjapur and the rest of the organizing team for a fantastic conference.

So honored to join this esteemed cohort. Thanks for mentorship from my advisors Dr. Michelle A. O'Malley, Kris Prather MIT ChemE Dept, and hard work from students such as Kok Zhi Lee Ethan Hillman Casey Hooker Brett Graver Ross Klauer Akash Jagdish Vaidya and Mruthula Rammohan that made this possible

Congrats Xiaojing Gao !!

We've got a growing number of folks Univ. of Delaware aspiring to be like Jake Becraft - especially in areas like synthetic biology and drug delivery. It was inspiring to hear his remarks and host him today. Also a nice throwback to MIT. Thank you Jake Becraft ! #synbio #entrepreneurship

Thank you to the colleagues who created an environment for success, the mentors who shared their wisdom and inspired me (Kris Prather, george church, Wilfred Chen ), & the amazing students I've had the honor of working with over the last 6.5Y #tenure

I'll begin sabbatical next week as an Otto Mønsted Visiting Professor at Denmark Technical University hosted by Pablo Iván Nikel @pabnik.bsky.social. I'm looking forward to the ME16 & Biotrans meetings & other opportunities to connect with European colleagues this fall

I'm honored and delighted to be hosted by Pablo Iván Nikel @pabnik.bsky.social DTU Biosustain through the end of the year Looking forward to meeting folks in the region and exchanging ideas #sabbatical #synbio #biocatalysis #geneticcodeexpansion #metabolicengineering

I'm enjoying the start of the International Metabolic Engineering 16 #ME16 meeting in Copenhagen this week Thanks to the organizers for providing a chance to share our work Thanks to my students for taking these pics Looking forward to meeting other attendees American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE)

Congrats on completing your PhD Kiseok (Keith) Lee | kiseokmicro.bsky.social ! And welcome to our lab - very excited to work with you
