We are excited to share our latest publication, using super-res to reveal the organisation of ER-associated Y complexes in mitosis! Congratulations! Rojapriyadharshini Gandhimathi Kleele lab @KutayUlrike EMBO Reports embopress.org/doi/full/10.15…

Congratulations to Rojapriyadharshini Gandhimathi and Kutay Lab for there new paper on ER-associated mitotic Y complexes. Great work 👏🏽 EMBO Reports D-BIOL @ ETH Zurich

Last week we had to say a fond farewell to Annamaria Gamper after 6 years in the Kutay lab! She was a fantastic group member and we wish her the very best of luck in her all her future endeavours!

Yesterday claudia.gafko successfully defended her thesis “Challenging ribosome biogenesis: from chemical inhibitor screening to quality control”! Congratulations Claudia on the culmination of 5 years of hard work, we’re all so proud! 🎉🥂

Are you curious about the proteins orchestrating nuclear architecture? Whether and how chromatin organization affects gene expression and cell fate? Check out our preprint showcasing recent work in collaboration with the Eric Joyce and @RanganLab. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Last week we said goodbye to claudia.gafko, who successfully defended her thesis last month. Claudia has been in the Kutay lab for 5 years and will be very much missed. We’re sure she has a bright and exciting future ahead!

Congratulations to Renard Lewis for his terrific defence last week! He did an amazing job presenting his years of work on the role of inner nuclear membrane proteins in chromatin organisation, and the entire Kutay lab couldn’t be more proud!

Congratulations to Chiara Ruggeri for successfully defending her PhD! She did an amazing job presenting her work on “Insights into the nucleolar steps of human 40S biogenesis by proteomic and functional analyses” and we’re all very proud!

After years of hard work Rojapriyadharshini Gandhimathi has successfully defended her PhD! We are so proud of the amazing job she did presenting and defending her work on mitotic disassembly of the NPC, congratulations!
