Today we learned about Dr. Mae Jemison. She taught us that “if [we] can dream it, if [we] believe in it, and if [we] work hard for it, anything is possible.” We worked on character traits and identified Mae as determined. Cannot wait to revisit this text when studying theme!

Our independence is growing! So proud of this girl! She knew her target and worked the whole time to reach her goals!
