Tomorrow at #ReactSummit I'll be presenting a creative coding talk on "Sketching with Code". I will show how to leverage @ReactJS to manage the state of p5xjs sketches.

Took the local bus #3 from El Palo at sunrise to get to #UpscaleConf here in Malaga. Really looking forward to this. First year conferences are exciting!

In the world where programming meets LLMs, it's critical for programmers to clearly understand what they're building to extreme details to get the most out of AI assistants. Suddenly, state machines and generative tests make a lot more sense. Stately.ai

I had such a great time talking about building a game with React, Konva, XState, and a genetic algorithm at CityJS Athens. Thank you CityJS Conferences for having me. It was a pleasure meeting everyone. This city and all of the people were amazing!

Unexpectedly ran into Anuradha Kumari and then experienced one of the very best spontaneous « Let’s go up there! » moments of any trip! Got completely soaked in the heavy downpour at the top! Worth it.

Super short, successful 1wk US trip done. Worked EMEA hours from 3:30-12:00 each day, renewed driving license, lined up future work, upgraded iPhone, farmers market, digitized VHS, saw parents and friends, ate Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese food, and went to a cute museum in PA.

Whoah! I woke up this morning to see that 23andMe matched me with a half-brother! That would be the very first and only close relative I’ve ever known of. I sent him a message. Talk about async - more like fire and [try to] forget and hope to get a response someday!

⚛️ XState Store now has atoms, and they're *really* simple. → atom.get() → atom.set(…) → Derived atoms (reactive) → Async atoms → Stores are atoms too! npm i @xstate/store

😅Now breathing a sigh of relief (and accomplishment) after finishing my part on a big fintech consulting project yesterday. I got to apply all the old state machine principles to a trading workflow for credit products while neither using nor reinventing XState. Worked just fine!
