At least be consistent. The Conservative leader has been not taking reporters questions and making it difficult for media to get access. Is this a case of “pot calling the kettle black” or just mis information from you?

Is this a demonstration of how the market looks after everyday people? Did we not see this sort of behaviour during the last crisis? Does it tell you something about the market and the need for government?

Dr. Kwame McKenzie (@kwame_mckenzie) 's Twitter Profile Photo

So we have a past provincial finance minister with no national experience; explaining to the successful head of federal banks in Canada and the UK about how markets work. X is a silly platform that allows people to show their foolish side.

A common businessmen’s delusion is that they know how to run an economy. Some of them know how to run a business but, as Canadian Conservative Governments seem to demonstrate from the mess they make, running a business is different from running an economy.

Dr. Kwame McKenzie (@kwame_mckenzie) 's Twitter Profile Photo

And so now we have a psychologist opining about the economy? Whatever happened to academics staying within their area of expertise? Should you even be using your Dr honorific if you are taking about an area you are not a Dr in?

Evidence against those who say Canada is broken. The OECD Better Life Index offers interesting data. Crucially you can see what problems are specific to Canada and what issues are problems for other countries too. The OECD says Canada is not broken. oecdbetterlifeindex.org/countries/cana…

For those who have been asking about evidence of economic difficulties of Conservatives governments please read below. There are problems with GDP per capita but as this is often quoted by those who say we have 10 lost years - read on.

Across the world people hold Canada in high regard. I am not sure where this self-hate and loathing is coming from but it is not based on evidence. Canada needs work, but it is not broken and that “broken” rhetoric is not good for our individual or public health.
