It was an honour to speak at the Irish Embassy about my Irish language journey, alongside former Minister, Joe McHugh, & Writer, Ciara Broderick, on a panel chaired by Deputy Ambassador McBreen, after an uplifting intro by Ambassador Fraser & Conradh na Gaeilge i Londain at #GaeltachtChoisTamaise

We’re very proud to support Liam Conlon and his call for “Philomena’s Law”. Brilliant explainer from Siobhan McSweeney on how the law would help survivors of #motherandbabyhomes seek justice.

Philomena’s Law on p.4 of today’s The Guardian. Our campaign for justice for thousands of survivors is gathering momentum.

Warm and useful meeting with Minister Pat McFadden at the BIC Summit. We talked about UK-Ireland cooperation, wider engagement with the EU, economic opportunities and international affairs.

Today I supported my friend Liam Conlon, alongside Derry Girls’ Siobhan McSweeney, in his campaign for Philomena’s Law. Currently, survivors of Ireland’s Mother & Baby Homes living in Britain face a dilemma: accept compensation from the Irish Government and potentially lose

Great to meet Siobhán McSweeney in Parliament this week and support ‘Philomena’s Law’ to deliver justice for survivors of Ireland’s Mother and Baby Homes in Britain. Survivors shouldn’t lose eligibility for vital benefits if they accept compensation for historic abuse.

Wonderful event in Parliament standing in support of survivors of Ireland's mother and baby homes, with Derry Girls star Siobhán McSweeney Survivors deserve full compensation and the justice they’ve waited decades for - I'm proud to be a co sponsor on Liam Conlon's Bill

I was delighted to hold a drop-in for Philomena’s Law this week with Siobhan McSweeney and Irish in Britain It will deliver justice for 13,000 survivors of Ireland’s Mother & Baby Homes living in Britain Grateful to everyone supporting the campaign & to see cross-party support!

In Parliament, I spoke in support of urgent reform to the Capital Disregard rules in the Mother & Baby Institutions Payment Scheme, delivering justice for 13,000 living in Britain. I pay tribute to Irish Community Services for their tireless support for survivors #PhilomenasLaw

Last week, I was delighted to meet with Derry Girls actress Siobhan McSweeney and Liam Conlon MP to discuss the #PhilomenasLaw campaign.

We were delighted to welcome Taiwo Owatemi MP to our centre again this morning. Taiwo took the time to meet with some members of the Midlands Irish Survivors Group & hear their voices. Thank you for your continued support, Taiwo! #PhilomenasLaw #MotherandBabyHomes
