Often the menorrhagia is due to fibroids. These on their own can cause Ilio- femoral DVTs. Solution: embolise the fibroids (UFE); bleeding stops; can restart AC; often iliac vein is scarred- this can be stented. CIRSE to explain many of these options in more detail
