🌱This afternoon, we have been at Burnley College to deliver one of our Pillars of Growth workshops. 🚜ESOL Learners have been learning about the exciting sector of Food and Agriculture and discovering the different career opportunities available in the sector.

⭐ This afternoon, we are continuing at Sir John Thursby for our Progression Mentoring programme. 🗝️ This is the 5th session of the programme which means we will be looking at the unique skills & qualities of the learners and how these qualities can help them achieve their goals.

This afternoon, we will be delivering our first Future Zoo 2024 Launch Session. We're going over lots of exciting topics with staff from Blackpool Zoo to get the students ready for the experience starting at the end of next month! #FutureZoo

🎓Today, we have been at LongridgeHighSchool to deliver one of our Student Life Talks. 🗣️ Aaron, our recent graduate, has been talking to the year 9 learners about his journey to university providing valuable information about his recent experiences.

⭐️We have arrived at wittonparkacademy for their Year 11 Parents Evening. 🎓Alan will be at our Future U stand talking to learners and parents/carers about future progression options.

⭐️This morning, we have arrived at Darwen Aldridge Community Academy for a day of workshops on Work Readiness + Professional Skills. 📌Year 10 learners will be looking into lots of great ways to physically and mentally prepare for working in the future.

This morning, we welcomed the team from Lancashire Future U #UniConnect onto campus to deliver a number of workshops to our students 🥰 The workshops provided information on how to choose the right university, top tips on the application process, as well as alternative routes.

We have had a great week supporting 'Future Zoo' students at Blackpool Zoo. The 'behind the scenes' tour was incredible. Besides learning about the fantastic conservation work carried out by the zoo, the students also got to feed the camels and giraffes - what a joy!
