Shortly before the election, some records relating to Orgreave were destroyed. This can't happen to surviving records about the Birmingham Pub Bombings. An inquiry is being considered. I raised the need for surviving records to be protected ahead of the decision.

It was a privilege to open Northfield Beach 2025! Many thanks and congratulations to Northfield Community Partnership and others for making this brilliant family event possible. The beach is open from 10:00 to 16:00 each day through to Sunday.
