Covid test done on oldest child Thursday AM no results yet and apparently there’s a lab problem but no contact to say this. Possibly whole class should be isolating but we can’t let the school know yet. Nightmare

My 5 year old just asked if Covid was here before she was born. So sad that she can’t remember a time before it. Fingers crossed for an easing of restrictions so she can make some new relaxed measures memories.

It’s been a busy two days for our newly Qualified Nurses who attended ward’s 9 & 10 Respiratory study days. Thank you to everyone involved in the sessions and Educational lead Natalie for developing an amazing Respiratory Portfolio. I’m very proud of you all Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust

So, after 36 hours on acute medical receiving, here is my take on the NHS… There are not enough beds and not enough nurses!! That’s it. Either could be fixed overnight. Thousands of lives would be saved. What are you going to do Rishi Sunak ?
